I am a happily busy mother of four, wife, lawyer, director and member of various communities in Fiji. I am passionate about the development of the legal profession in Fiji and have pro-actively served the Fiji Law Society in various capacities since 2000, including as Vice President (2007 to 2009; 2014 to 2015) and President (2016 to Present).
I was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1996 and the High Court of Fiji in 1998. I started my career working for the Crown Law Office in Queensland, Australia, and the private legal sector in New South Wales in 1997. I moved back to Fiji in 1998, working in the private and public legal sectors.
I’ve operated my own full-service legal practice for over 10 years now, and applied my more than 20 years of legal experience to a range of private and public sector clients, particularly in the areas of civil litigation, family law, commercial law, conveyancing, contract law, torts and criminal litigation experience.
